Postcom was successful in advocating on behalf of its members in 2022 through negotations and litigation. Postcom prevented implementation of fees for customized addressing; Opened the door for reclassification of First-Class Mail package service as Market Dominant products; Greatly lengthened the notice period for technical documentation of rate increases; Helped extend the implementation period for new separation and identification requirements for shippers using the Postal Service to ship hazardous materials. Supported the Postal Service Reform Act of 2022, that was signed into law by Presiden Biden.
