Program areas at Animal Aid
Our low cost/free mobile spay clinic provided over 3,000 spay/neuter surgeries in 2023. Approximately 1,500 of those surgeries were feral (stray) free roaming cats. Most were returned to their original location after being spayed or neutered. If they were socialized and friendly they were placed for adoption at our center or at one of our off-site adoption locations. Our low cost/free clinic provided medical service to over 1,200 cats and dogs that otherwise may have not received care.
Our thrift store offers donated items for a donation to Animal Aid. This helps support our rescue and adoption center so we can continue to provide clinic service, spay and neuter and pet adoptions.
Our adoption center, as well as our multiple off-site adoption centers, took in and found homes for over 900 cats and dogs that otherwise may have been put to sleep.
