Program areas at Coastside Post 474 The American Legion Department
Post 474 held numerous community events and charitable programs during 2022, including a Flag Day community program, a Veterans Day ceremony and free dinner for all veterans attending, sponsorship of one boy for American Boys State educaional program, a Memorial Day ceremenoy, a Labor Day ceremony, Thanksgiving with free dinner to anyone in the community (and to-go boxes), Christmas with free dinner to anyone in the community (and to-go boxes), Fourth of July event withflag carriers in the annual parade, followed by the annual town picnic and free live music at the Post. 365 days a year, Post 474 provides a great venue to our veterans, as well as community members, to meet and enjoy our Coastside community.
