Program areas at Amazing Grace Equine Sanctuary

Since the Amazing Grace Equine Sanctuary (ages) accepted its first surrendered horse in 2008, we have taken in 334 horses and have currently placed 321 of those with loving owners. We are often the last chance for horses who are out of options. Through no fault of their own, many horses end up in difficult circumstances, and are very close to being in an inescapable and hopeless situation. Sadly, they sometimes end up being neglected or sold to slaughter. Its a very wonderful thing to see an unwanted horse become a horse that is wanted and loved very much, either through adoption or as a permanent resident of ages. This is our goal with every horse we receive!
