1. In support of its goal to conduct research and education,the organization engaged experts and stakeholders in the field of cell- based therapy, including researchers from academic, research, and in- dustry organizations, and those representing patients, to assess the current state of the field; identify barriers to the development, translation, and manufacturing of safe and effective therapies; identify strategies and policies for addressing such barriers; and collaborate on actions to advance the field. 2.
