Basin Facilitation - This project provides for a Statewide Coordinator whose primary objective is to coordinate and combine many independent efforts into a statewide, singularly focused, holistically targeted river basin/watershed protection approach, and ten River Basin Facilitators, each tasked with the primary objective to coordinate and combine many watershed specific, independent efforts into a singularly focused, holistically targeted river basin/watershed protection effort. The project is designed to create a neutral forum offering stakeholders a non-threatening atmosphere in which to work together for better water quality, addressing polluted storm water issues and challenges in a non-regulatory way.
