Abbeville Historical Preservation Commission

The Abbeville historic Preservation Commission was established to preserve, maintain and promote the burt-stark mansion as a national significant properety in the history of the united states. The burt-stark mansion was designated by the secretary of the us department of the interior on october 23, 1992, as a national historic landmark, which places the mansion on the national register of historic places. The Commission continues its mission through volunteers and supporters.
