Program areas at A Cup of Water Foundation
A cup of water completed the construction of the orphanage & community feeding center in Mexico. The center will be a home for over fifty orphans children. The feeding center continues to provide a large number of meals each day to poor residents. We are also in the process installing a large water purification system to provide clean drinking water to the community.
Youth development and academic preparation are also important areas of our services. The foundation has engaged in supporting positive youth development activities as well as in school and after school academic activities for hundreds of at risk youth in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
Alleviating hunger is a top priority for the foundation. We are continuing our work to provide hot meals and food baskets to residents living in poor communities in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. We served a combied total of 4,200 meals and foodbaskets each week in the two countries.
