(le korsa ) largest educational project is the student scholarship fund which allows 20 students from senegal to attend university in the capital. Le korsa provided educational support for teacher's salaries, supplies to the following schools in senegal: jardin des enfants, saint Anne's school, and ecole of goumbyel and koar. In addition, le korsa supports a student working towards a masters degree in Tunisia, le korsa also works with private primary schools by providing scholarships for high achieving students who could not afford to continue their education without funding. Students are identified by teachers and administrators on a case by case basis. Medical and health programs: le korsa provided operational grants to hospitals of tambacounda and fan for indigent patient fees, medicines, supplies, maintenance, and facility upgrades including medical equipment, le korsa has worked tirelessly to support an obgyn doctor to expand her ability to offer safe and free prenatal health care to dakar's poorest and most vulnerable female population le korsa provides help for her to open a women's center where women could gather for education in nutrition, sanitation, and early child education as well as gynecological and prenatal care. For $19, 950 through 'project cure containers of medical supplies were shipped to dakar for distribution to partner hospitals and clinics throughout senegal. Cultural and agriculture programs: le korsa's largest endeavor is the construction of a new cultural exchange center. This facility, which had its grand opening in February 2015, hosts artists in residence from senegal and abroad, offering them a retreat to practice their art and interact with the community. In addition, the center offers educational and community activities for the local villagers. Le korsa donated approximately $10,000 to the delico women's cooperative to help the women of the village join together to raise crops and improve their well. Le korsa also provides help for the cooperative to apply for outside funding and grants to diversify their crops.
