Program areas at Zoological Society of Washington and Cougar Mountain Zoo
Advancing the cause of endangered species through education. During the pandemic our website provided education and learning about endangered species. When allowed, visitors came into the zoo to interact with the exhibits and Docents, explaining wildlife propogation, environment & community values.
Serving Western WA schools, community organizations and senior citizens as a living classroom. Students use the zoo in conjunction with school curriculum. Volunteer Zoo educators assist teachers & lecture.
