Consulting, training, and Mentoring program developmentcapacity-building consulting: Youth Mentoring Collaborative provides capacitybuilding consulting for free to organizations with annual revenues of less than 1 million and at market rates to organizations with annual revenues greater than 1 million. Our services support the overall Youth services ecosystem by building practitioners and organizations' capacities to meet their mission. This includes providing training, resources, public awareness, and advocacy that supports the expansion of Mentoring initiatives.youth Mentoring legislative day: the Youth Mentoring legislative day is a unique opportunity to convene legislators, youth-serving programs, and young people at the nc general assembly to highlight and celebrate the power of Mentoring relationships. Youth attendees speak directly with legislators to discuss the importance of Mentoring and ways legislators can deepen their connections with local programs.healing-centered Mentoring fellowship: healing-centered Mentoring (hcm) is a framework that builds the capacity of Mentoring organizations to increase the number of Youth receiving evidence-based mental health services through Mentoring, simultaneously reducing the burden on existing systems of care, and reducing thebarriers to mental health services, particularly for bipoc youth.champions of Mentoring reception & awards ceremony: the champions of Mentoring reception & awards ceremony is an evening of celebration as we present the mentor of the year, lifetime achievement, impactful philanthropy, and public advocate awards. Guests will enjoy stories about the power of Mentoring and celebrate ymc program partners with food, music, and merriments.
Summer social justice academy: this intensive three-week paid hybrid summer experience connects 25 Youth to subject matter experts to explore how to respond to some of society's most pressing issues, including mental health, access to highquality education, contact with the criminal justice system, and economic opportunities.
The carolinas Youth Mentoring symposium is an annual gathering that brings together people of all ages interested in exploring how to uplift and improve Mentoring initiatives. Youth attendees engage in interactive learning opportunities that support strengthening their connections.
