The Youngstown Model Railroad Association promotes, advances, and preserves the hobby of model railroading in all phases including building, leasing, running, operating, maintaining, establishing, and controlling model railroads of whatever size. They have hosted groups from Boy Scouts, PTA and Church Youth Groups as well as visits from other Model Railroad Groups to use their facilities for their meetings and to operate on their layouts. These are events that do not incur any additional expense on their part to host.
