Yosemite High School Scholarship Foundation

The Yosemite High School Scholarship Foundation distributes contributions from a number of local businesses and organizations. These entities select their own candidates according to their own criteria, such as following a vocational course of study, medicine and nursing, or attendance at a given university or college. The group or organization then chooses the amount of each scholarship given. The Yosemite High School Scholarship Foundation deposits these funds into checking/savings accounts to draw on such funds for disbursement. These disbursements are made during the Fall and Spring semesters to the student-scholarship recipients. The only regulatory function of the Foundation is to verify that the student-scholarship recipients are enrolled in an accredited school and taking a minimum number of class hours per semester.During the 2021-2022 fiscal year, scholarships totalling $63,100 were disbursed to 44 student recipients.
