Yancey County Farm Bureau

Yancey County Farm Bureau is a private, non-profit organization with a mission to develop, foster, promote and protect programs for the welfare of farm people, including their economic, social and educational well-being. They plan, conduct and support activities for youth and adults involved in agriculture to explore the agricultural industry and develop leadership skills. This includes college programs. They also coordinate and help sponsor events with other agriculture and community groups to raise public awareness of agricultural enterprises in Burnsville, NC.
