- conducted tours of interested community members. - property improvements were completed including improvements to access and signage and continued maintenance of trails and the overall property. - began forest masterplan with shavonne sargent, service provider, under direction of natural resources conservation service (a program administered by the us dept. Of agriculture), which included multiple site visits. (the written plan was not completed until feb. of 2023, however.) - began conservation easement with mckenzie river trust in consultation with shavonne sargent. (easement should be completed by late 2023. )- installed trail markers on all trails.- completed trail maps and interpretive panels designed by ram papish and produced by newport sign shop.- undertook chemical abatement of invasive blackberry, english ivy and scotch broom.- hosted composer/professor sara graef who composed a Yakona symphonic piece which was paired with a slideshow of Yakona photography.
