Identify, develop, and secure optimum markets for sheep and other livestock and their products. Promote and improve marketing opportunities for livestock through an annual events, such as a ram sale and ram test.
Offer special projects and outreach programs including, but not limited to, cooperative projects with the university of Wyoming college of agriculture natural resources and the collegaite Wool Growers association, state and federal agencies such as the Wyoming department of agriculture and the u.s. department of agriculture, american sheep industry association, and the Wyoming Wool Growers auxiliary programming.
Offer Wyoming youth and livestock producers educational opportunities to improve flock production and learn new developments in the industry. Educate the public on the history of the sheep industry in Wyoming as well as the value add products produced from sheep and other livestock, such as Wool products, lamb, and other uses.
