World Vets has provided veterinary aid programs and support in over 50 countries on 6 continents providing aid to tens of thousands of animals and the people and communities in which they live. Programs include spay/neuter, public health, street dog management through vaccination and sterilization, livestock programs, equine programs helping working horses and donkeys, disaster response/animal rescue, marine animal programs (including stranding response, rescue of sick, injured or stranded marine animals in the wild, research, protection & conservation). World Vets operates a full service veterinary clinic for domestic animals in the Galapagos Islands and provides wildlife rescue services Through a largely volunteer workforce of highly skilled professionals, World Vets is able to leverage resources for maximum impact and sustainability.
