EDUCATION IN MANY RURAL AREAS ACROSS THE GLOBE, CHILDREN ARE DENIED A BASIC EDUCATION BECAUSE THEY LIVE FAR FROM SCHOOL AND DON'T HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION. A BICYCLE CAN REDUCE A CHILD'S COMMUTE TIME BY UP TO 75%. IN THE SHORT TERM, BICYCLES HELP CHILDREN ARRIVE AT SCHOOL LESS EXHAUSTED AND ATTEND REGULARLY. IN THE LONG TERM, BICYCLES HELP CHILDREN COMPLETE THEIR EDUCATION, REDUCING THE LIKELIHOOD OF EXTREME POVERTY. (Continued in Schedule O).
