Program areas at Joe's Movement Emporium

Arts education: Joe's offers year-round out-of-school time programming after-school through club Joe's and over the summer through camp joe's, providing structured homework help, creative play and Arts activities for elementary-aged youth. We provide early access to Arts enrichment for youth, as well as affordable child care for working parents in the region.
Community programs
Theater tech program/creativeworks: recognizing the dual need for qualified employees and stable employment for the local economy and the area's underserved young people, Joe's launched the creativeworks program in 2008. Participants are trained in theatre tech and digital media, as well as learn life skills to achieve post-secondary success.
Theater/production:performances of dance, music and theater are offered in waf's facility and in the community. The on stage at Joe's program reflects a curated and cultivated season of performances and events, featuring local and national artists, supporting new work, and presenting artists from World traditions. We employ local artists, offer showcase opportunities, and present diverse performances that are both representative and apart from the demographics of audiences/local area.
