World Affairs Council of the Mid-Hudson Valley educates the public about contemporary international affairs through public and youth programming. They bring together members of the community for Great Decisions Public Discussions and Public Lectures done in conjunction with local libraries. The organization hosts an annual regional Academic WorldQuest competition where area high school teams compete in a trivia challenge, attracting nearly a dozen participating teams alongside coaches, families, and members.
