Program areas at Work Options
Work Options was recognized by the Colorado Office of Apprenticeship with two statewide awards:The Outstanding Partner award for our work with the Colorado Restaurant Association on launching the Apprenticeship Program both as a training provider and as an employer.Our Executive Director was also recognized as the Outstanding Champion of Apprenticeships, for her work in launching and creating partnership in the apprenticeship arena.
Line Cook Apprenticeship- We began offering the Line Cook Apprenticeship in 2023 with 7 students beginning and completing the Apprenticeship. We also started 4 students in the Pre- Apprenticeship program.
Culinary Job Training Program- In 2023 we enrolled the highest number of students ever at 287. 85% completed the program, of the completers 72% became employed and of the employed 74% were employed for 6 months and 71% were employed at 12 months.
