Safe cleaning: the goal of our safe cleaning work is to increase disclosure and safety of ingredients used in these products. We accomplish this through educational resources, market campaigns, and policy work. We also engage people to make changes in their workplaces, schools, and other public spaces by working with decision makers to eliminate the use of disinfectants that contain quaternary ammonium compounds.
Safe salons and cosmetics: the goal of our safe salons and cosmetics is to increase disclosure of ingredients in fragrance and eliminate the use of harmful chemicals. We do this through developing educational resources, market campaigns, and policy work.
Intimate care and menstrual equity: the goal of our intimate care and menstrual equity work is to increase safety and disclosure of ingredients and to destigmatize menstruation as well as combat body-shaming language associated with the use of intimate care products. We do this by releasing educational resources, market campaigns, and policy work. We also conduct workshops and other events to facilitate and destigmatize conversations about menstruation.
Leadership development: we also have a leadership component of our work where we provide trainings and other opportunities to build leadership skills that can be applied to bolster and strengthen our program work.
