Women's Hospital Auxiliary

Active Auxiliary members serve as volunteers at SJWH and provide more than 11,848 hours of their time which is equivalent to over 5.74 full time employees. The Auxiliary conducts an annual giving campaign of its members, numerous fundraiser events, and raises funds through the retail shops from sales of flowers, plants, gifts and other items available for purchase for patients by family and friends.Recent Auxiliary gifts include the funding of new state-of-the art breast imaging equipment for improved imaging procedures for women and neonatal patients and a renovation to the outside garden area for patients, family, friends and team members.Auxiliary volunteers are a vital part pf SJWH. They contribute to patient well-being and comfort to ensure a better hospital experience because of their warmth, compassion and dedication to their service.
