The Wisconsin Technology Education Association provides professional development and training to classroom teachers. Due to Covid-19, the annual 3-day conference was cancelled and replaced with a virtual conference that was made available to all current members at no charge. The online platform and information were kept available. Additionally, they have a technology education awards program which selects outstanding teachers and school programs for recognition. They hold an award ceremony and banquet, as well as award scholarships to educators receiving national recognition for achievement.
