Wisconsin Insurance Alliance (WIA)

The wia has an active public information program. News releases are regularly distributed to Wisconsin media, and that committee coordinates other outreach dealing with the media and public information.

The wia's amicus curiae committee monitors all appellate case law and seeks to become involved where there are matters of interest to the property and casualty Insurance industry.

The legislative functions of the wia include full time representation by a legislative counsel in madison, appearances at hearings, and drafting of bills and amendments as appropriate. Members receive weekly legislative bulletins during the legislative session as part of the wia's endeavor to keep members advised of what's happening in the legislative process and to solicit their input and assistance.
