Program areas at Winning Families
In 2022, San Antonio Marriage Initiative (sami) continued to serve marriages and families locally and nationally. In San Antonio, 197 events for Marriage enrichment and support were elevated to the community. Our team empowered local Marriage leaders through in-person roundtables, church event support, and the certification of 40 new Marriage coaches through such highly regarded programs as prepare /enrich and adventures in Marriage. Significant relationships were built with national Marriage leaders across the country, resulting in 35 high-quality Marriage resources being exclusively provided to our community of Marriage champions. We continued to build our digital footprint across varied platforms with Marriage help and hope reaching 1.9m people in 2022. Sami worked closely with established local champion churches and initiated 46 new relationships with catholic parishes. Sami provided vital training, support, and encouragement to Marriage leaders across the country, helping to establish Marriage initiatives in 7 new cities, while supporting 8 established cities. Sami collaborated with the family law community to focus on marital health and divorce prevention opportunities. Sami was honored to be chosen to spearhead the national Marriage week campaign, resulting in hundreds of radio stations broadcasting a powerful message focused on Marriage strengthening. We continue to celebrate a consistent decline in San Antonio divorces since sami's founding.
