Program areas at Wildlife Rescue League
The Organizations rehabilitators provide food, medicine, and housing to wild animals that may be sick, injured, and/or orphaned. All food, medical, and housing supplies go directly to the rehabbers who care for the animals. The Organization also collects non-cash donations such as used furs, to be used as bedding for orphaned babies.
Animal rehabilitation helpline provides callers with advice on what to do when finding wildlife. Helpline volunteers also provide contact information for volunteers who work with injured or orphaned wildlife throughout Northern Virginia and surrounding areas. Calls are received from all over the country, 365 days each year during daylight hours.
Educating the public through publications and seminars.
