Science and Management and project coordination - wmi administers the american woodcock conservation plan, northeast regional conservation needs program, and the new england cottontail conservation recovery plan in the northeastern united states. In addition, wmi provides leadership, coordination and financial administration for regional and national Wildlife conservation and hunting heritage projects and programs. The revenue total above excludes grants and contributions of appproximately $2.7m that are used to fund natural resource Management programs and are reported in part viii, line 1 as contributions.
Information and education - administration and hosting of the north american Wildlife and natural resources conference, a five day conference, which informs and educates more than 1,100 Wildlife conservation professionals, including leaders of federal and state agencies, non-governmental organizations, and academicians. The revenue total above excludes conference sponsorships of $250,878, which are reported in part viii, line 1 as contributions.
