Since 1984, Westchester Disabled on the Move (wdom) has empowered people with disabilities to live independently in their communities by providing free, essential services. These include accessible and affordable housing, rent subsidies, service coordination, benefits counseling, and affordable health insurance. We are a non-residential independent living center (ilc) that assists in preventing unnecessary nursing home placements and supports smooth transitions from nursing facilities with services like home care. As a leading advocate for the disability community, we are committed to creating a more inclusive and supportive society.
