To provide leadership in child health quality initiatives by :Working with clinicians and health care systems to develop, implement andevaluate improvements in pediatric health and healthcare deliverance.Collaborating on statewide and national levels to build capacity and momentum for quality improvement in child health strategies.Providing technical assistance,and education on quality improvement methods. Engaging clinicians, community members, allied health care providers and policy makers/stakeholders in child health quality improvement.
Annual continuing medical education meeting to provide up to date information regarding the practice of pediatrics to the membership of the West Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
All other program expenses made to support the goals and purposes of the WV Academy of American Chapter of Pediatrics.
Pediatric Obesity Prevention Study to create a wellness campaign to present information regarding health eating habits for children to physicians, the public and other interested organizatons.
