Wmci builds strong communities by preparing the next generation of Construction professionals for lifelong careers. We provide students with quality instruction and hands-on learning experiences preparing them for careers in the commercial Construction industry. The learning is aligned with business expectations, state career and technical education standards, and the national center for Construction education and research (nccer) curriculum. Wmci provides instruction in three primary areas: high school carpentry courses; adult Construction trades education in carpentry, concrete, exterior envelope, sprinkler fitting, and plumbing; and professional development and certification courses for Construction industry professionals.
