Program areas at We Love Buford Highway
We Love Buford Highway Orchestra Project served 50 students in the 23/24 school year in 11 local district schools, with 5 community performances. We distributed 1,125 snacks, had approximately 113 parents join in Facebook Community private page, and had over 250 attendees at community performances.
Buford Highway Business Circle launched the We Bridge You Grow series in March 2023 to connect deeper with our business communities, as well as the Buford Highway Small Business Resource Guide. In August 2023, we launched the first ever Buford Highway Restaurant Month catalyzing a reach to over 19,000 social media followers and over 1,000 post shares.
Feeding Families program fed 5,857 individuals in and 1,176 families in 2023. We also donated 2,200 pairs of socks to individuals, which more than 45% were 18 years of age or younger.
