Newburgh Armory Unity CenterThe Funding Is Being Used To Enhance Elements of the Center's Saturday Morning Enrichment Program (Smep), Which Remains the Foundation of the Nuac's Mission To Provide High-Quality Academic Enrichment, Early Childhood Literacy Programs, Career Exploration Pathways To Children and Families in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. in 2022 and 2023, Nuac Served 650+ Students Weekly, Expanded Class Offerings To More Than 30, and Provided Nearly 2,000 Hours of Instruction Per Week, Surpassing Pre-Pandemic Numbers. the Library Has Also Been Updated and Renovated, and A Computerized Database Installed. An After-School Program for Middle School and High School Students Has Been Added. the Garden Was Expanded To Include A Fruit and Berry Orchard and A Pollinator Orchard. the Nuac Hosted 12 Internships in Collaboration With the Newburgh School District and Others. Groundwork Was Laid To Begin Installation of An Elevator in the Facility and To Renovate Several Classrooms Next Year.$15,000

To Bridge the Gap Between Homelessness and Stability for Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking Survivors in Orange County By Providing Financial Assistance for Housing-Related Expenses. the Funding Allowed Fearless!
