Program areas at Wabanaki Benefit Foundation
The Wabanaki community Foundation (wcf) envisions building a future where Wabanaki people and communities are thriving and prosperous, self- determined, and resourced to grow and sustain their cultural, economic, and environmental health. Wcf partners with donors to restore and grow philanthropic resources under Wabanaki leadership, connecting their support to community efforts, intertribal collaborations, and cultural initiatives that strengthen Wabanaki homelands. Wcf also engages directly with Wabanaki communities, in what is now known as Maine, nonprofit organizations, and local and regional allies to close funding gaps, invest in community- defined solutions, and build long-term capacity for Wabanaki prosperity and sovereignty.
