Program areas at VIA

The enlight social impact leadership accelerator program was offered during march 2023 till june 2023 with teams joining from myanmar. The accelerator is a 4-month team-based training and project development course for social impact leaders who are looking for tools, structure, and support to turn their big ideas into a sustainable project. Through interactive training sessions, independent team tasks, and individualized coaching, team members learn how to 1) collaborate effectively as a team, 2) identify their target community and project goals, 3) develop impact-driven programs with effective evaluation plans, and 4) communicate their value to community stakeholders and funders.
The exploring social innovation (esi) program was offered in person during feb. 8-18, 2023 with 15 participants joining from japan and myanmar. The esi program brings together a cohort of 12-20 students and young professionals from across Asia and the us in silicon valley for an intensive 10-day exploration of social challenges and innovative solutions.
The custom social innovator accelerator program was offered during september 2022 till january 2023 with teams joining from a company in japan. This accelerator is a 4-month team-based training course to nurture an innovator growth mindset and gain skills for innovation.
Other programs include online explorer programs for health care students, another focusing on disaster recovery, and another in collaboration with meridian, our global community fellowship with three fellows sent to japan and thailand, and our social impact leadership conference.
