VNSNY CHOICE MEDICARE ADVANTAGE: VNSNY CHOICE, A MANAGED CARE ORGANIZATION LICENSED UNDER ARTICLE 44 OF THE NEW YORK STATE HEALTH LAWS, OPERATES A MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PROGRAM SPECIAL NEEDS PLAN (VNSNY CHOICE MEDICARE ADVANTAGE), FOCUSED ON CARE MANAGEMENT OF PEOPLE ELIGIBLE FOR BOTH MEDICARE AND MEDICAID, AND MEDICARE PLAN FOR BENEFICIARIES WHO DO NOT QUALIFY FOR MEDICAID. VNSNY CHOICE MEDICARE SERVES ALL 5 BOROUGHS OF NYC, NASSAU, SUFFOLK, AND WESTCHESTER, AS WELL AS UPSTATE COUNTIES OF RENSSELAER, SARATOGA AND SCHNECTADY, AND HAS OVER 7,549 ENROLLEES. Effective January 1, 2019, VNSNY CHOICE exited certain product lines related to the Medicare Advantage program.

Vns choice selecthealth: in 2012, vnsny choice, a managed care organization licensed under article 44 of the new york state health laws, acquired a medicaid hiv special needs plan (vnsny choice selecthealth). Vnsny choice selecthealth serves over 3,207 enrollees diagnosed with hiv and aids, as well as their dependent children (regardless of hiv status) who reside in new york city. It provides a full range of medicaid-covered services to the enrollees, including comprehensive medical care, personal care services, and prescription drugs.
