Visitphiladelphia, the region's official Tourism Marketing agency, builds Greater Philadelphia's image, drives visitation and boosts the economy. 2022 was a year of strong resurgence for the Tourism industry. In 2022, we continued our pack light. Plan big. For philly. Campaign to drive day and overnight visitation. We were as committed as ever to diversity Marketing, touting the black- and brown-owned businesses hit especially hard by the pandemic through our new shop philly program and other initiatives. We revamped the Visit philly overnight package to include a choose-your-own-perk component. We built civic pride through programs that supported our sports teams deep into their post-season runs. And we continued to partner with local, regional and national organizations to tout Greater Philadelphia as a great place to Visit all the while remaining a major presence online, on social media and in the press. In 2022 Greater Philadelphia welcomed 39.8 million visitors and supported 171,500 hospitality related jobs. Visit Philadelphia's Marketing program generated 306 million ad impressions, 13.9 million pageviews on visitphilly.com, 33 million social media impressions and placed/tracked 3,300 Philadelphia stories.
