The particular business and objects for which said corporation is formed shall be social, benevolent, fraternal and patriotic; to promote social intercourse among ourselves and our associates in said corporation; to render patriotic services to the State of New Mexico and to the United States of America; to raise and obtain funds for relief of needy or disabled veterans, their widows, orphans and dependents; to promote the general welfare of the members of our organization and other ex-service men who have served in the armed forces of the United States; to have, own, lease and maintain in the County of Colfax, in the State of New Mexico, for the use of ourselves and said associates for the purpose aforesaid, a club house or quarters, with all appurtenances and belongings, matters and things which properly constitute a club and club house, and to operate the same for social, benevolent, and charitable purposes; and to buy, lease or sell real and personal property and apply the proceeds and profits thereof to charitable purposes, and, to these ends, to borrow money in the manner consistent with the purposes of the organization in order to carry out said benevolent and charitable purposes.
