Veterans Furniture Center provides free furniture and household goods to formerly homeless Veterans transitioning to permanent housing under the Veterans Administration's HUD-VASH program. Its mission is to assist these Veterans in starting a new life and achieving a successful return to society by providing them with the items they need to make their apartments feel like home.

Program areas at Veterans Furniture Center

In 2021, the Veterans Furniture Center (VFC) purchased furniture and household goods to outfit the apartments of 196 formerly homeless Veterans as they transitioned from homelessness. The information of eligible Veterans were supplied by the Veterans Administration. Deliveries were made on Friday's in 2022 with the help of 20 individuals, veterans, active duty military and civilian volunteers. The Veterans Furniture Center spent $180,524 on new furniture and household goods in 2021 to ensure these Veterans' apartments were liveable.
