Vashon Senior Center

Continued serving seniors through multiple activities, with more services and programs opening up throughout 2022 as COVID pandemic challenges waned. We delivered more than 1000 hot meals at the Center and delivered more than 5000 hot meals to the homebound. We enriched and engaged with the senior community by offering 20+ in-person and online activities and programs, and we offered weekly educational opportunities and presentations about multiple topics. Activities like in-person Zumba, Tai Chi, and other wellness classes began again. Over 120 volunteers contributed 4800+ hours to the lunch delivery and other programs, including 188 Bluebird rides to off-island medical appointments.
