Program areas at VCRS
Recycling: opportunities to recycle provided for a Community of 110,000 people. We provide a six day a week drop off; Recycling collection at the Alaska state fair grounds, the mat-su home show and other events; and process and transport materials to market.
Education and outreach: we conduct a wide range of education and outreach. Field trips, presentations, website, newsletters, videos, curriculum kits, one-on-one outreach at retail stores and other public venues, presence at Community events, Alaska state fair booth, and use of earned media to raise awareness about Recycling opportunities.
