To increase their wages, improve their hours, and generally, to better their working conditions. To do whatever is proper and necessary to protect the economic and social welfare of its members. To support and initiate any and all legislation affecting the economic security of its members. To establish a spirit of brotherhood among its members in the enhancement of their social, economic, financial and cultural status.
