To work with the public to donate Dental care, provide low fee Dental care, sponsor give kids a smile programs, do free screening programs, fund a public information website, mediate complaints, teach prevention, hold programs for special needs patients and children, publish Dental career information, answer public questions about oral health care, teach water flouridation, teach tobacco cessation, present school programs, share materials in schools, do health fairs, provide sealants, teach about baby bottle syndrome, advise pre-dental students, support Dental students and Dental schools
Sponsor Dental education courses and clinics, scientific seminars, yearly Dental education convention, continuous quality improvement seminars, radiation safety courses, disposal of solid and liquid Dental waste, train about controlled substance database, train Dental employees, teach the prevention of infections and hazards in the office, teach vaccination, train about best management programs, send Dental publications to offices, sponsor a useful Dental website, and provide information.
Work with government agencies including: dea, osha, ftc, cdc, cms, us congress, Utah governor, legislators, attorney general, departments of health, commerce, insurance, labor, workforce services, tax commission, division of professional licensing, medical examiner, local health departments, local water districts, landfills, county agencies, city agencies.
