Program areas at Utah Afterschool Network
The Utah Afterschool Network provided coaching, support, and training to 253 Afterschool programs throughout the state of Utah. Of 180 programs receiving observations and support from uan, 122 were rated as high quality. 91% of programs agreed that receiving support from uan helped increase their overall quality. 93% of programs agreed that utilizing uan's quality self-assessment tool helped to increase their overall quality. Uan staff provided 89 trainings to Afterschool staff, delivered 184 resources to Afterschool providers, and had 1,216 support touchpoints. Uan hosted our statewide Afterschool professional development conference, jump start, for the first time in-person in two years with 621 Afterschool program staff in attendance, impacting an estimated 25,000 youth from 217 Afterschool programs. 100% of attendees reported learning new ideas to implement into their work in Afterschool programs, and 95% of attendees reported increased knowledge of Afterschool best practices. 574 Afterschool program staff attended uan's virtual recharge conference, from 140 Afterschool program sites.
