Us-Brazil Connect builds skills, strengthens education, and expands economic opportunity by creating transformative learning experiences linking the United States and Brazil. It achieves its mission by connecting communities, engaging leaders, and hosting a fellowship program for US participants to complete leadership development and travel to Brazil. Program areas at Us-Brazil Connect

In 2018 we:- provided services to 250 brazilian students in 4 sites throughout brazil.- enrolled 20 us participants who completed the fellowship program (leadership development program and travel to brazil for 3 week in-person stage).- hosted 15 brazilian students and coordinators for 2 week us immersion program; in collaboration with college partners.- hosted a delegation of brazilian educational leaders for a 2 week immersion program.- 100% of fellows agree or strongly agree that Us-Brazil Connect should continue to offer this fellowship program.- 98% of brazilian students agree or strongly agree that they feel comfortable communicating their thoughts and ideas in english (after completing the program).
