Program areas at Urban and Regional Information Systems Association
Gis-pro 2022 took place in boise, Idaho and was a positive, successful event that attracted 415 attendees. The conference was co-hosted by the northern rockies urisa chapter and the northwest gis users' group. The event took place at the boise convention centre and both the venue and the host city proved to be affordable options compared to recent higher priced destinations.
Urisa's gis leadership academy was hosted three times in 2022: virtually (june 27-july 1); in philadelphia (august 8-12); and in santa rosa, California (october 31-november4). A total of 87 attendees participated at the three events.
The 2022 gis/valuation technologies conference was hosted in new orleans. The event was the 25th anniversary conference, again co-hosted by the international Association of assessing officers (iaao). There were 296 attendees and half of the net profit was shared with the iaao.
- gis organizations: work with exempt organizations in related fields to provide administrative support and coordination of activities. Other programs include publications, giscorps and gis certification institute.
