Completed Schematic Design and began Design Development; Update capital and operating budgets based on the schematic design; worked with a fundraising advisor to better understand best practices; updated comprehensive listing of potential funding sources (e.g., public and private grants, capital budget request, individual donors); Requested $695,250 capital budget appropriation from State of Washington; Worked with County officials, legal counsel, and others to explore the possibility of a Public facilities District for Upper Kittitas County; Conducted monthly meeting with the Project Committee; Communicated with community via website, emails, social media and in-person meetings
