Upper Kittitas County Community Recreation Center Alliance

Construction documents are 80% complete as of December 31, 2024. Worked with Washington District 13 senator and representatives to introduce a bill into the legislature to amend Washington law to allow for a partial-county public facilities district and thereby create a more favorable financing structure for the facility. Secured a lodging tax grant from the City of Cle Elum and ARPA funds from Kittitas County, as well as several private donations. Conducted monthly meetings with the Project Committee. Communicated with the community via website, emails, social media, and in-person meetings.
