(ucrhh) is to provide a homelike setting for the placement of individuals facing end-of-life care in harford county, Maryland and neighboring baltimore and cecil counties. This non-profit Hospice facility is a place of peace, serenity and compassionate care for individuals in the final stage of life who cannot be cared for in their home or other long-term care facility. Ucrhh was created to meet what has been identified as a critical need for a facility where individuals in final stages of life can be placed and receive quality and compassionate care and die with dignity. Although this care can be provided in a person's home, there are often financial or family circumstances which require placement of an individual in a Residential Hospice House for the sake of the individual and their family.
