Description
The Upbeat Academy Foundation provides underprivileged, at-risk students with the opportunity to learn how to produce and perform electronic dance music and hip-hop, while introducing them to the business side of the music industry. Since 2012, it has provided free music production programming to over one hundred underserved middle and high school students from over ten different schools in the greater New Orleans area. One hundred percent of students who have participated in its programs have graduated from high school and gone on to pursue higher education.
